Another year, another stacked City College of San Francisco basketball team. CCSF has won 3 state championships since 2011 and is always in contention to win another one year after year. After a successful 2018 state-run, players were able to continue their education and basketball careers at the University of Hawaii, San Jose State, Prairie View A&M, and CSU Maritime. The 2018-19 CCSF Rams feature 3 bounceback players from division 1 programs. We were able to capture a preview of the team at the Norcal Jamboree
2018-19 CCSF Rams
Deschon Winston / Cal Transfer – Most likey the starting point guard for the team and a little bit of everything at the point guard position
Austin McCullough / Cal Transfer – The sharpshooter for the team and will get plenty of opportunities to knock down wide open three’s all season.
Walter Urbina / San Jose St – High energy player that can play both inside and outside. The X-factor of the team and if playing at his full potential the team will be very tough to beat.
Niamey Harris / Mission HS SF – His second year with the program and the best perimeter defender and passer on the team.
Dale Currie / Sheldon HS (Sacramento) – The Sacramento player of the year will most likely be the backup point guard and looks to improve his game in the next 2 years for the D1 level
Emeka Udenyi / De La Salle/ Hillcrest Prep – Back from a post-grad year at Hillcrest Prep, Emeka is the best overall defender on the team and has a motor that that doesn’t stop. He has a nose for the ball whether it’s a rebound/steal/ or block.
Alec Check / College of Sequoias – A bruising wing player that reminds me for LiAngelo Ball with his ability to shoot the 3 and use angles to get to the basket… (Kinda looks like him too???)
Malcolm Johnson /CSU Dominguez Hills –
Austin Harris / San Leandro HS –
Dwight Young Jr / UC Santa Barbara
Jason Ricketts /
Kolman Kelley / Contra Costa
Camani Grace / San Leandro HS
Anthony Bayonne / Hercules HS
Ben Pate / Galileo HS
