Bryce Monroe – The MOST UNDERRATED Player in Norcal

2020 5’10 point guard Bryce Monroe just finished his sophomore season at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Bryce earned 1st-team all-league and Co sophomore of the year with fellow Soldier teammate Je’Lani Clark.

Bryce may have the most division 1 scholarship offers than anyone in Norcal but is not ranked in the Top 5. He is also not ranked in the Top 100 nationally.

The 16u Oakland Soldiers EYBL recently came back from Peach Jam and Bryce dominated every player that stepped in front of him; including nationally ranked Caleb Love (#40). Where he scored 35 points. After 4 games, Bryce averaged 24 points, 7 assist, 2 rebounds, and 35/35 from the free throw line. His performance at Peach Jam gained huge interest from high major colleges including Washington State, Oregon State, Nevada, Colorado, Hawaii, UC Irvine, and Seattle.

Bryce now holds offers from St. Johns, Washington State, Hampton, Northern Illinois, University of San Francisco, and Cal Poly

Watching Bryce play at Sacred Heart, one can tell he has the talent to play at the next level. While sitting in conversations with his coaches. Bryce broke down his game-tying shot vs Bradley Beal to force OT. He also discussed how he reads the defense/defender throughout the game to stay effective. Not too many high school players have this mindset; which set Bryce a part from other prospects.
