The Chabot College Gladiators have high expectations coming into the 2022-2023 season. The Gladiators are expected to be improved in outside shooting, depth, size and IQ. Last season the Gladiators finished 18-11 made it to the 2nd round of the California state JC playoffs. 4 Gladiators sophomores earned there A.A degrees and 3 signed full scholarships. 1st team all Conference Guard Isaiah Veal (Spring Hill College), 6’8 Skylar Robinson (Metro State University), 6’7 Christian Pitcher (Montana Western University).
The 2022-2023 Gladiators return many impact players that are expected to play at high level this season.
6’9 Forward David Ogunleye is being recruited by various D-1 programs. 1st Team all conference in 2021-2022 David returns as the Gladiators leading rebounder (7.0 rpg).
6’3 Guard Jaiden Rivera is also being recruited by various D-1 programs and was 1st Team all conference defense and nominated for Academic All State award in 2022-2023 Jaiden returns as the Gladiators leading scorer at (11.4ppg).
6’1 Point Guard Diggy Winbush has D-1 programs interest and returns as the Gladiators leader in assists at (3.4 asg) and highest percentage 3pt shooter at (45%).

6’2 Guard Makaio Mims (Redshirt Freshman/ James Logan HS) returns after an 2022 all state performer for Chabot College Track and Field. Makaio is a scorer , playmaker and solid defender.
6’10 Center Terrence Craft (Redshirt Sophomore/ Leadership HS) returns after playing the 2019-2020 season. Terrence brings tremendous size athleticism defense and rebounding.
6’4 Guard Nick Tumlin (Redshirt Freshman/ California HS) Nick will be expected to shoot the 3 at a high percentage and defend and rebound
6’0 Point Guard Lorenzo Abellar (Redshirt freshman Transfer Santa Rosa JC) Lorenzo is a impact point guard that can make plays at all 3 levels.
