With the summer right around the corner and no spring travel ball and doubtful for summer ball. We would like to spotlight the players and programs who would have been chasing their dreams of earning scholarships to play at the next level. Without games to cover, we will still continue to provide content and coverage to help student athletes reach their goal.

This years team is led by Mikey Mitchell and Jaylen Thompson and was expected to attend national tournaments from the West Coast Challenge by Hoop Circuit, Pangos Terrific 24, and Visions of the Stars hosted by Dream Vision.

Mikey Mitchell (Archbishop Mitty) – The Pepperdine commit had an impressive junior season leading the Monarchs to a 1st place tie in the WCAL. The 6’2 lead guard is an elite knockdown shooter with improving play making abilities. Mikey is considered as one of the top 2021’s in Norcal.

Jaylen Thompson (St. Joseph Notre Dame) – The 6’7 forward is a silent assassin holding Pac 12 offers from USC and Stanford as a sophomore and ranked 52nd on 247 Sports. Jaylen made a name for himself early in the season at the Pangos All-West camp featuring the best 2022/2023 prospects on the west coast. Jaylen has all the tools of a high major division 1 prospect. He can handle the ball, shoot the ball from the 3, and defend multiple positions at a high level.
Cameron Niles (Del Campo) – 6’6 wing is well known for his high flying dunks and is compared to former Arsenal player Deon Stroud who is currently playing for Fresno St. He currently holds offers from UC Davis and UC Riverside.

Robert Vaihola (Archbishop Riordan) – At 6’7 he was a force around the paint in the tough WCAL. Has a nice touch around the rim and a good passer from the high post.
Arrish Bhandal (Archbishop Mitty) – The 6’9 big was slowed down by an injury early in the year but picked it up in the second half of the season. Arrish exploded for 30+ versus Riordan during WCAL play with his soft touch around the rim and pick and pop skills from 3.

Gabriel Patrick (American Canyon) – 6’3 combo gaurd is best at attacking the rim and willing defender.
Jason Cibull (Alameda HS) – A crafty pass first point guard that was the leader for the Alameda Hornets last season.
