The Showcase featuring 4 local club teams on Nov. 7th, 2020 included Mission Hoops Academy, Team Superstar, Takeoff Elite, and Eastbay Soldiers.

Ryan Kiachian (2021 Bellarmine/ Take Off Elite) –  The 6’9 Cornell commit dominated the paint against each team as he posted them up, or hit them with a quick spin move for a nice bucket. He also continues to shot the ball well from the outside and midrange. If we have a High School season this year he will be an exceptional threat from any spot on the court. Ryan and the Bells will look to fight for a WCAL crown once again.

Broyce Batchan (2022 De Anza/East Bay Soldiers) –  The 6’3″ PG really showed his leadership and point guard abilities with the East Bay Soldiers. His ability to scan the court and find his the open-player has improved greatly. Also, he continues to show his athletic abilities with his speed, ball handling, and his bounce at every game without fail.

Alex Ma (2021 Castro Valley/Mission Hoops) –  A quick 5’8 PG controlled the pace for his team and knocked down his shots off his the pick-and-roll with consistency.

Robel Zemmo (2022 Oakland Tech/Team Superstar) – The lefty guard was in attack mode all day. Getting to the rim and getting to the line. Was also able to knock down some shots from spot up and pulling up. 

Tejaun Hale (2021 Oakland Tech/Team Superstar) – Had an effective mid range pull up all day and was a good playmaker for the team. Will be the leader for the Oakland Tech Bulldogs this season. 

Max Parmigiani (2022 American Canyon/ Eastbay Soldier) –  Shot the ball well for the Soldiers from the three-point line and ran the floor well to get easy baskets. A player that loves to legitimately compete no matter the score.

Joshua Wolf-Bloom (2021 Bellarmine/Take Off Elite) – A player not known for scoring; but continues to show his overall skill set with a nose for the ball. Made amazing passes to his teammates all day for easy baskets, rebounded the ball well, and started the break with ease. A glue guy for the Bellarmine Bells.

Zach Turner (2021 Bellarmine/ Take Off Elite) – 6’7″ wing was a defensive nightmare against the other teams! With his long arms, he deflected numerous passes and blocked multiple shots. Zach also knocked down a large amount of three-point shots in both games. A great prospect for Division-2, Division-3, and the NAIA level.
