Season Stats: 13.3 points  2.9 rebounds 5.4 assists per game.

James Akinjo was a 4 x Big East Player of the Week and led the Big East in an assist. His performance provided a unanimous decision on the Big East All-Freshman team.

Akinjo also went VIRAL vs Seton Hall when Quincy Mcknight slapped the floor and scores on him immediately and responded with a floor slap of his own.
