With the summer right around the corner and no spring travel ball and doubtful for summer ball. We would like to spotlight the players and programs who would have been chasing their dreams of earning scholarships to play at the next level. Without games to cover, we will still continue to provide content and coverage to help student athletes reach their goal.
Throughout the month we will spotlight programs and their rosters. This spotlight features our first girls program Travis Lady Jets out of Fairfield, CA. The program has been in existence since 2017. This year the lady Jets have three teams from middle school, 15u, and our select team.The team has a host of young ladies in the 2022 and 2023 class.
The Team
Ale Ibarra Vanden (2022) 5’10 Post- Ale brings great footwork and scoring ability to score in the low post while showcasing her ability to score from the high post area. Ale averaged 16.5 PPG and 7.7 RPG and had 8 double doubles this season. On January 29th she scored 44 points and grabbed 19 rebounds against Armijo High School.
Kennis Jasperson – C.K. McClatchy (2022) 5’6 Guard- Kennis plays point guards on our Jets Select team. She brings a playmaking ability to create for others around her. She can get into the lane and distribute or attack and score. Last season she averaged 14.4 PPG and 4.3 RPG.
Amani Boxdell– Fairfield (2023)- 5’2 Guard- Amani is one of the younger players with an improving shooting ability. From the step back shot to spotting up and scoring, The sky is the limit with Amani, who just completed her Freshman year at Fairfield High School.
Ameera Musleh– Vallejo (2023)- 5’4 Guard- Ameera is another sharp shooter who is only reaching the ceiling of her potential. A hard worker who completed her Freshman year on Varsity ( Called up halfway through the season). Meera (as we call her.) is a deadly threat from the outside.
Analis Garcia – Vanden (2022)-5’1 Guard- Analis brings an endless motor and will play hard every possession. On defense she is a constant pest on the ball which contributed to her leading the team in steals with 3.9 per game during her JV season with Vanden. Analis had a season high 17 steals against Armijo on 2/16.
Charlize Hongo – Vanden (2022) 5’3 Guard- Charlize another hard worker on our team. She will dive on the floor for a loose ball, take a charge, and chase after a rebound. Charlize will also guard the toughest player on the floor. She will do anything to help the team win and is a vocal leader on the floor.

Samirah Osborne– Pioneer (2022)- 5’3 Guard- Samirah is a left handed guard who can knock down from the outside consistently. She missed the remainder of her sophomore JV season due to an ankle injury.
Alyssa Jennings– Fairfield (2023)- 5’6 Post- Alyssa is a work horse on the boards and on defense. She has a raw skill set but is growing into her own!
Madison Zacher– Vanden (2022)- 5’3 Guard- Madison is can get it done both offensively and defensively. She’s a knock down shooter and has a quick first step to get to the basket. Madison’s on ball defense is one of the best on the team.
Tianna Gonzalez – Vanden (2022)- 5’3 Guard- Tianna coming of her sophomore season on varsity. She brings an overall offensive package to our team. She struggled to see playing time last season on varsity, but is poised to have a big Summer to improve going into her Junior year.
