The college season has started and its been a pleasure to see these Norcal players having a hot start to their season!
Ezra Manjon (Heritage) UC Davis – The electrifying PG was the Big West Freshman of the Year and continued his stellar play earning Big West Player of the week to start off the season. Ezra is averaging 23 points a game after 3 games.
Darrion Trammel (St. Ignatius/CCSF) Seattle U – The 6th man of the bench for the Redhawks in on a tear averaging 16 points per game after 5 games and a season high of 25 vs Northridge. Darrion has left all doubts for anyone that did not think he can play division 1 basketball!
Riley Grigsby (Mitty) Seattle U – The WAC player of the week was a star at Archbishop Mitty HS is now blossoming for the Redhawks as a junior. Through 5 games he’s averaging 17 points with a season high 28 pts vs Portland.
Jamaree Bouyea (Palma) University of San Francisco – The star out of the 831 is breaking out his senior season! Averaging over 17 points per game after 5 games and 19 points in their upset win over #4 Virginia.
Marcus Bagley (Sheldon) Arizona State – The top ranked player out of Norcal scored in double digits his first 3 games of the season with a season high 21 points vs Houston Baptist. Marcus left the game with a lower leg injury vs Cal. Prayers that everything is ok as he will be a big part of ASU success this season.
James Akinjo (Salesian) & Jordan Brown (Woodcreek/Prolific) University of Arizona – With one game under the belt vs Grambling St. Both James and Jordan made dynamic duo both scoring 19pts in their first games as a wildcat!
Christian Terrell (Sacramento HS) Sacramento St. – The hometown hero has started of his senior season with a bang! Averaging 16 points per game and shooting over 70% from the field. He is ready to bring back some excitement to his hometown school!
Souley Boum (Oakland Tech) UTEP – The former Tech star is averaging over 28 pts and 8 assist per game. Souley averaged 13 pts per game last season as a junior for UTEP.
