Modesto Christian v Centennial - Open Division 

Led by Jamari Phillips and BJ Davis, the Modesto Christian Crusaders finally booked their ticket to the Golden 1 Center for the Open Division state championship. 

The Crusaders defeated Archbishop Mitty, Clovis West and the number 1 seed Campolindo to play Saturday March 12 8 p.m.

The young Modesto Christian team faces off with the number 1 seed Centennial, led by Sacramento native Jared McCain. Centennial comes in 32-1 with their only loss coming early in the season.

The Crusaders play on a familiar court where they won their section championship just over a week ago. 

Clovis North v Damien - Division I

The Cinderella story of this year's state championship is Clovis North. The 13 seed Broncos were bound to upset teams in the state playoffs. 

For the chance to play at Golden 1 the Broncos beat Miramonte, Folsom,  the 1 seed Sacred Heart Prep and St. Ignatius. The Broncos fought in a close game with St. Ignatius, winning by two after Sophomore Connor Amundsen helped score nine straight points in the final minutes.

Friday March 11 8 p.m. Clovis North takes on Socal’s number 1 seed, Damien, at the Golden 1 Center.

Elk Grove v Foothill - Division II

The Elk Grove Herd had their eyes set on their first NorCal championship for the historic program. Led by Senior Ameere Britton the Herd turned heads in their two-point victory over Vanden. 

As the one seed Elk Grove beat Clovis East, San Ramon Valley, Vanden and Branson. Elk Grove plays Foothill Saturday March 12 at 8 p.m. 

Elk Grove will bring a balanced attack with size, shooting, depth and great coaching. The Herd crowd shows out and Elk Grove High only being 20 minutes from the Golden 1 Center could mean trouble for Foothill.

Pleasant Valley v Venice - Division III

The small-town kids from Chico are headed to the state championship. Led by a team full of seniors the Vikings have won four straight games by double-digits. 

The Vikings defeated Santa Cruz, Menlo School, Lincoln and Bullard to reach the state championship game.

Pleasant Valley takes on the 5 seed Venice for the title March 11 at 4 p.m. 

Justin-Siena v Scripps Ranch - Division IV

The four seed Justin-Siena defeated Union Mine, Lowell and advanced to the state championship game by defeating the one seed Enterprise and three seed Liberty Ranch. 

Justin-Siena takes on Scripps Ranch Saturday March 12 at 12 p.m. 

Stuart Hall v Chaffey - Division V

Stuart Hall, the three seed in the NorCal tournament defeated Mt. Shasta, Ripon Christian, Head-Royce and Priory to advance to the state championship game.

Stuart Hall will battle Chaffey Friday March 11 at 12 p.m.

Weed v St. Bernard’s - NorCal Division VI

In the battle of the small schools Weed, the one seed, defeated Credo and Valley Christian to reach the state championship game.

Weed will take on St. Bernard’s Thursday March 10 at 6 p.m.
