Jordan Brown is one of the highest rated players to come out of Northern California in quite some time. He was ranked in the Top 10 throughout most of his high school career and fell into the Top 20 during his senior season.

Brown played his first 3 seasons at Woodcreek High School in the Sacramento area where he helped lead the Timberwolves to a Norcal title his junior year. Brown finished his high school career at Prolific Prep in Napa, CA. A prep school that participates in the grind session; known as one of the toughest “leagues” to be in for “high school basketball”. Jordan finished his career as a McDonalds Donalds all American and selected o participated in the Nike Hoop Summit.

Brown’s top 3 was California, Arizona, and Nevada. Many people thought Cal or Arizona would have been his choice since they play in the Pac-12 Conference. While Nevada is considered a mid-major. Based on many interviews, Brown chose Nevada because they were one of the very first schools to offer him and stick with him throughout the whole process. Jordan Brown will be in great hands as head coach Eric Musselman has good NBA experience with the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
