The spring season of AAU ball is officially over. We were in attendance to check out some of the top talents from Norcal.

Note: We were not able to check out EBO and Team Lillard.

2019

Isaiah Hawthorne – Tracy HS (Arsenal) Has a game that resembles Paul George very smooth and effortless. Hawthorne scored at will from the mid-range and three-point line utilizing a deadly pull-up. He is the top 2019 prospect in Northern California.

Zyon Pullin – College Park (Arsenal) – Zyon capped off a big spring proving to be a legitimate PG at the next level. He played with great awareness and took care of the ball when the team needed most. He is also becoming a dead-eye shooter.

Miles Amos – Stuart Hall (Bay City) – Mentioned previously from Gauntlet Session 1, Miles can attack the basket with the best of them. He plays better with the ball in his hands running the offense. Back in session one, he was sharing the PG duties with Wrenn Robinson. Miles has a high IQ and has a great demeanor while playing the game. He needs to improve his jump shot if he wants to succeed at the next level. Made a game-winning 3 vs Team Fastbreak which was his only jump shot in the game.

Aaron Murphy – Modesto Christian (Lakeshow) A do it all forward that literally did it all Memorial weekend. This performance with a visit after secured him an official offer from Cal Poly SLO

Lawerence Long – San Leandro (Arsenal) A new addition to the 17u elite and made a big impact on both ends of the court. A good defender that is good at slashing/cutting to the basket. He is definitely on coaches radar after a big spring.

Connor Murphy – San Ramon Valley (Bay City) – A lights out shooter that played a big part in the success of Bay City. A perfect complement to Miles who gets to the basket at will.

2020

Xavion Brown – Sheldon HS ( Lakeshow) – Had a coming out party and the scouts took notice, he was invited to the prestigious Pangos All-American Camp after. May have been the only Norcal player at the event. Xavion is a great defender that can get to the basket at will. Once he gets a consistent jump shot, every college in the nation will know his name. He led the 16u team to an impressive win over Team Harden and almost upset a top Compton Magic team.
