Feb 15, 2019 – College Park vs San Leandro in the NCS quarterfinals. These 2 teams previously met in the preseason and the Pirates came out on top. 

The second meeting College Park was without 2 key players Ramon Farias 6’8 big man that controlled the middle for the Falcons and Josef Laxa a superb 3-point shooter. 

The Pirates came out hot with a 19 point half time lead due to a big first half from Ciri Sawyer with 14 points and 2 amazing blocks. In the second half, College Park and top unsigned senior Zyon Pullin got it going chipping the lead down to 9 with 6 minutes to go. The Falcons was unable to get any closer as the Pirates answered back with baskets and 2 alley-oops to San Diego State Signee Keshad Johnson. 

San Leandro will face De La Salle at De La Salle HS on Feb 20th 7pm.
