Week 3 of the college season has began and here are the standouts from this past week of College Hoops

Zyon Pullin (College Park) UC Riverside  – Earned Big West Player of the week with a 22 point outing vs Denver. Zyon is currently averaging 10 points and 6 assist per game this season.

Elijah Hardy (Bishop O’Dowd) Portland State – Started his junior season with a bang scoring 16 points 4 assist and 4 rebounds. Will be a fun season for the former Bishop O’Dowd star.

Darrion Trammell (St. Ignatius/GSP) Seattle U – Continues his hot streak with a 32 points 7 rebounds 7 assist vs LBSU.

Riley Grigsby (Mitty) Seattle U – Forming a great duo with Darrion Riley scored 24 points vs LBSU. Darrion and Riley will be a dominate duo come WAC play.

Arinze Chidom (Bishop O’Dowd) UC Riverside – The former Bishop O’Dowd big man is having a stellar senior season. Averaging 13 points and 6 rebounds per game

Damari Milstead (Moreau Catholic) USF – Picked it up in the scoring column this week with a 24 point outing and 6 assist vs LBSU 

Joey Calcatara (Marin Catholic) University of San Diego –  Joey was one of the premier scorers in Norcal during his prep days and nothing has changed as he scored 18 points vs UCLA in his season opener.

Jade Smith (St. Joseph Notre-Dame)  Pepperdine – Now the starting PG and leader of the Waves. Jade is having a great season posting a season average of 10 points 3 assist and 3 rebounds per game vs some of the HM teams on the west (UCLA, CAL, SDSU, and UCI)

Souley Boum (Oakland Tech) UTEP – Continues his hot play with a 21 point outing back home at St. Marys.

Logan Johnson (St. Francis) St. Mary’s – Scored 15 points and 5 rebounds in their win vs SJSU. Logan Started 2/3 games so far and is playing over 20 mins a game. 

Emeka Udenyi (De La Salle) Seattle U – Started last 5 games averaging 25+ min a game with his best performance vs UW with 12 points and 6 rebounds. 

Womens Standouts

Haley Jones (Mitty) Stanford – Earned player of the week averaging 27 points 10 rebounds 5 assist and 2 blocks per game vs UW and UNLV this past week. The McDonald’s All-American is back 100% and is ready to put on a show!

Illmar’l Thomas (Sacred Heart Cathedral) Cincinnati – Has been unstoppable to start the season averaging 30 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. 

Tameia Sandler (St. Patrick. St. Vincent) University of Washington – Earned freshman  of the week last week (Nov 30). Currently averaging 16 points 6 rebounds 2 assist per game as the starting PG for the Huskies

Angel Jackson (Salesian) & Amaya Oliver (St. Marys-Stockton) USC  – Forms one of the best front courts in the Pac-12. Angel is averaging 14 points and 5 rebounds per game and Amaya is averaging a double–duble 12 points and 11 rebounds per game

Nia Johnson (Sac HS) UNLV – A starter for the Rebels is averaging 5 points and 5 rebounds per game. With her season high 12 points vs Stanford.

Zakiya Mahoney (Bishop O’Dowd/Chabot) Mississippi Valley State – Kicked off her junior season with 13 points and 7 rebounds vs Murray St. 

Nyah Willis (Valley Christian/Chabot) Presbyterian – Averaging 13 points and 7 rebounds vs Clemson and East Tennessee after 2 games this season.
